Redmond officially took over EMS service in Chattooga County on April 1.  Next week they are planning a ribbon cutting in Summerville.  According to information released by Redmond on Tuesday:

A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned on Wednesday, April 20, 10:00 a.m. at the Chattooga Main Station on 200 Stockade Road in Summerville to celebrate Redmond EMS in Chattooga County.
Commissioner Jason Winters told AM 1180 that Redmond is still looking for property for an EMS station in Trion, but has moved into locations in Gore and Menlo.  The Redmond EMS Station in Gore is being housed in a mobile unit next to Gore Fire Hall.  In Menlo the Redmond EMS Station is located between Ballard Hardware and the Menlo Post Office.
