The Chattooga County Relay for Life gets underway today and will continue through Saturday.  Event organizers are expecting a large turn out for the annual event in Chattooga County, and activities get underway with a reception for Cancer Survivors this afternoon at the Summerville Church of God at 4:45 PM.  At 6 PM the relay gets underway at Dowdy Park with the survivor’s lap.  Food and entertainment will be provided throughout the weekend.  Between 45 and 50 teams are expected to participate in the event.
