Summertime usually sees an increased number of animal bites as people are spending more time outdoors.  The Chattooga County Animal Control and the Chattooga County Health Department want to get the word out that people should report animal bites when they require medical attention.

Any animal bite that breaks the skin should be reported to either the Health Department or Animal Control.  You can reach the Health Department at 706-857-3377 or Animal Control at 706-857-0679.
