At Tuesday night’s meeting of the Chattooga County Water District Board, Commissioner Jason Winters updated board members on the status of the Gore-Subligna Water Project.  Commissioner Winters said that only around 20-30 water meters are left to be installed in the area.

Winters said that there will still be some seeding and grading work to be done in the Gore – Subligna area where water pipes and meters have been installed.  Winters said that KM Davis, the contractor for the project, has been "very good to work with the county on fixing driveways" that have received damage from water pipe installation.

Winters said any residents in the Gore-Subligna area that have any problems to report should call the Commissioner’s office at 706-857-0700.  Winters added that any problems with ditching or driveways would be resolved either by KM Davis or Chattooga County Public Works.
