FEMA and the SBA are urging residents who need disaster assistance to turn in their flood relief applications as soon as possible.

A spokesperson with FEMA told AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio that FEMA has grant money available to help with repairs from flood damage, but that money is only available after applications have been turned in and processed.

The Flood Recovery Center at Trion will be closing this Saturday at 7 PM.  The Disaster Recover Center at Rock Spring will remain open.  That center is located at the Walker County Ag Center which is located at the Walker County Civic Center Complex off Highway 27.
