After 30 years of teaching at Menlo School a long-time teacher will be retiring this year.  Carole Hosmer has taught at Menlo for the past 3 decades and has taught 5th through 8th grade language arts, reading, math, social studies, and science.  Ms. Hosmer currently is the Literacy Coach at Menlo.

Ms. Hosmer graduated from Chattooga High School and went on to attend Berry College where she received a BA in Social Science and Sociology.  She then added an education degree and a Masters in Education from Berry.  After a number of years, Ms. Hosmer received a Master’s Degree in Media Science from Jacksonville State College.  She also holds an Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology. 

Menlo Elementary School will be hosting a retirement tea for Carole Hosmer on Sunday, May 23, 2010, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the new music room at Menlo School. Everyone is invited.
