A Rockmart company has been awarded a $41.5 million contract to manufacture aircraft fuel cells for the U.S. Military’s Defense Logistics Agency. Engineered Fabrics Corp. won the contract, which will provide fuel cells for the Air Force. The contract is expected to last through 2013. Engineered Fabrics has a headquarters and manufacturing facility in Rockmart and is a subsidiary of K&F Industrial Holdings. (Rome News-Tribune)
