A man arrested at the Cartersville Highway Walmart in Rome Tuesday night is charged with felony cruelty to children and child molestation, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

James Asbury Clark, 55, of 1168 Chulio Road was charged with child molestation when he committed acts that were “immoral and indecent” in the “presence of a child.”

Police say Clark got down on his hands and knees inside the store to look up the skirt of a 14-year-old child.

The act was caught on a security camera.

Clark was taken to the Floyd County Jail where he remained this morning.
