Rome teen was arrested late Wednesday night on felony charges after allegedly being involved in a shooting on Callier Springs Road earlier that day.

According to reports at the Floyd County Jail:

Scotty Michael Craig, 17, of 13 Berry St., was arrested by Floyd County police investigators and charged with three felony counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a person younger than 18, discharge of a gun near a public street, pointing or aiming a gun at another person and felony possession of a firearm while trying to commit crimes.

Police say Craig fired at least two shots at three individuals near the Ashton Ridge apartment complex around 6 p.m. Wednesday. He was questioned by investigators and later arrested around 11 p.m.

He remains in jail on $12,450 bail.
