Rome Police arrested a pair of teenagers who fled from authorities in a stolen car Wednesday morning.  City police attempted to stop a blue Honda Civic for speeding in south Rome when the vehicle took off and the case was on.  The driver pulled onto a dirt road off Eden Valley Road and then he hit the woods along with a passenger.

A manhunt ensued and police brought in a tracking dog before 17 year old Damian C. Ingram of a Lindale address and a 15 year old juvenile were finally apprehended.  Ingram faces more than a dozen charges including theft by taking, aggravated assault, theft by receiving stolen property driving in excess of 100 miles per hour and more.  It’s not clear what the charges against the juvenile will be.
