William Frank Rosser of Chattanooga died yesterday. Rosser served as a missionary for over 50 years to Nicarauga in Central America where he was considered a pioneer in early missionary work in that country. Mr. Rosser is credited with starting 159 self-supporting churches while doing missionary work.
Rosser was a native of Chattooga County and a veteran of the US Navy, a graudate of Tennessee Temple and an assistant director of Baptist International Missions. He is survived by his wife along with siblings that live here in Chattooga County. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday in Ft. Oglethorpe with burial in the Trion Cemetary.
