Voters will go to the polls on Tuesday to vote in the last election of the year….a run off election that will select a new U.S. Senator, a new judge on the Georgia Court of Appeals and a new Public Service Commissioner. Also, voters in Chattooga, Dade, Walker and Catoosa Counties will be selecting a new judge to fill the vacancy left when Judge Ralph Hill retires at the end of the year on the bench of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit.
Two Catoosa County attornies are seeking the vacancy: Brian House and Larry Stagg. As of Wednesday afternoon, the last day for early voting, over 730 Chattooga County Voters had cast their ballots.
Polling places will open on Tuesday morning at 7 AM and remain open until 7 PM Tuesday evening. Voters in the Coldwater precinct are reminded that they will vote at the Pond Springs AME Zion Church. Be sure to bring your photo ID when you go to vote.
