Trion School students will be headed back to school next week, but Chattooga County students still have more summer break ahead of them.  Seventeen more days of summer break for Chattooga County School system students remain.

Kids will head back to the classroom on Tuesday, August 10th and will be adjusting to longer school days and a shorter school week.  The Chattooga County Board of Education voted last week to shorten the school week to four days to save money.

A meet and greet is scheduled for all Chattooga County School System schools on August 5th.  Parents of children from grades K-12 will have an opportunity to meet with their children’s teachers on that evening.
