Sherrif Ralph Kellett told AM 1180 Chattooga Radio News that the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department along with the GSP and the Summerville and Trion Police Departments will still be out in full force during their "Driving over the Limit, Under Arrest" holiday driving campaign.
The holdiay weekend officialy ends at midnight tonight. All this weekend the area law enforcement agencies have been out to stop impaired drivers. Kellett stated that "Too many people still don’t understand that alcohol, drugs and driving don’t mix…..nor is it a victimless crime." Kellett asks for help from the public in stopping impaired drivers.
