The Rome Post of the Georgia State Patrol reported a single vehicle accident with injuries this past Sunday in Chattooga County.

According to the report filed by Trooper, Sgt. S.T. Thompson the accident occured on Rocky Hollow Road near the intersection of Saddle Club Road.  The accident involved a 2000 Dodge Neon driven by Thomas Ivan Rutledge of a Cooper St. Summerville address.

The accident occurred when Rutledge lost control in a curve and struck a tree.  Rutledge was taken to Floyd Medical Center by Chattooga County EMS.
