Dogs caught up to a fawn deer in the Armuchee area late Friday, but it was not your run of the mill fawn. This deer had two pelvic regions and two sets of hind legs. Six legs in all. Dr. George Gallagher at Berry College says the deer underwent surgery Saturday to repair damages caused by the dogs, it’s long term prognosis apparently good, but it’s chances of survival in the wild may be minimal.
