The Ramada Skytop Inn…formerly the Holiday Inn Skytop closed it’s doors because of the poor economy.  The hotel served as a poplular place for out of town groups to stay such as sports teams visiting the city and other convention goers. 

The 151 room hotel offered three 400 person meeting rooms and featured a weekend lounge and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.  The hotel was one of the only "full service" hotels in Rome.
