Former Democratic candidate for Chattooga County Sheriff, Aubrey "Smitty" Smith announced today that he is throwing his support behind incumbent Sheriff Ralph Kellett.  Smith said that after much consideration he feels that it would be in the county’s best interest to re-elect the incumbent sheriff.  Smith said that he appreciated all the support and votes that he got in the primary and would like those who voted for him to consider supporting Ralph Kellett in his bid to be re-elected sheriff.
