Snow began to fall on Lookout Mountain in Chattooga County about 4:00 AM this morning.  Highway 48 has snow on the road and the snow was coming down hard after 5:00 AM.  Temperatures at Cloudland were 29 degrees this morning, with the temperature as of 5:50 AM in Summerville at 37 degrees.  The weather forecast for today calls for rain and snow showers throughout the day.  If you have plans to travel over any of the higher elevations in the surrounding area you will want to use extreme caution.
