A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPING OVER THE GULF WILL BEGIN TO SPREAD PRECIPITATION INTO PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA EARLY FRIDAY… AND CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. AT THIS TIME… IT APPEARS THAT IT WILL BE COLD ENOUGH FOR THIS PRECIPITATION TO FALL AS SNOW OVER NORTH GEORGIA. A MIXTURE OF RAIN AND SNOW IS ANTICIPATED OVER CENTRAL SECTIONS FRIDAY… BEFORE CHANGING OVER TO ALL SNOW LATE FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY NIGHT. LATEST MODEL RUNS INDICATE THAT SOME AREAS COULD SEE SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IN THE 1 TO 2 INCH RANGE… BEFORE TAPERING OFF TO FLURRIES LATE FRIDAY NIGHT.

WITH THIS SYSTEM STILL DEVELOPING AND THE EXACT TRACK UNKNOWN.
