The Georgia Department of Education has decided to throw out the results from the CRCT due to low test scores by sixth and seventh graders around the state.  “The performance appears to be implausibly low, which raised serious questions,” said State Schools Superintendent Kathy Cox. “After intense scrutiny of the standards and the assessment, we have come to the conclusion these scores are not trustworthy measures of student achievement in social studies. Accordingly, the results will be invalidated.”
