A band of strong storms are moving through the Northwestern part of Chattooga County. According to the National Weather Service, pea size hail has been reported in extreme Northwestern Chattooga and Southern Walker County…..stay alert to the weather over the next 24 hours…we remain under a flash flood watch until 8 PM on Monday evening.

PEA TO DIME-SIZED HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM… ALONG WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN. OCCASIONAL CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED WITH THIS ACTIVITY
