Earlier this week, Summerville Police were called to a Fourth Street residence after a woman called 911 to say that a roaming pit-bulldog was acting aggressively towards her and her grandchildren.

When police arrived they spoke to the woman who said that a neighbor was allowing the dog to roam freely without a leash.  Officers also spoke with another neighbor that said that the dog had tried to attack them while they were on a riding lawn mower.

Police were able to locate the suspected animal, but as of earlier this week the incident was still under investigation, according to a report from the Summerville Police Department.
