At last nights City Council meeting Police Chief Stan Mosely and Fire Chief Echols gave reports on their departments for the past month.

Mosely stated that Summerville Police had patroled 3,980 miles and had issued 161 citations.  City Police collected $4,900 in fines and there were 82 inmates housed for the Summerville Police Department.

The Summerville Fire Department had responded to 72 calls in October.
