Authorities in Rome say that a Summerville woman was arrested recently at a motel after she was found to be in possession of “numerous drugs.”

Police reports indicate that thirty-eight-year-old Tara Elizabeth Taylor of Summerville was questioned by police at the Royal Inn on Martha Berry Boulevard.

After a search of Taylor’s pocketbook, police say that the found prescription drugs in the bottom of her purse.  Also, police say that they found a “rock-like” substance that was white in color inside her pocketbook.

Taylor was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and a Schedule IV controlled substance.  She is being held without bond in the Floyd County Jail. Taylor is also wanted by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department on unrelated charges.
