A Summerville woman was arrested early Sunday after a traffic stop around midnight, reports stated.

According to Rome police reports:

Tracey Carol Dempsey, 45, of 376 Dry Creek Road in Summerville, was pulled over Saturday at 11:54 p.m. at Calhoun Avenue and Grady Avenue for speeding on North Broad Street at 70 mph and running a red light.

Police performed a field sobriety test and a search of her car turned up a glass pipe with suspected cocaine residue and an apparent rock of crack cocaine in a cigarette box in her purse.

Dempsey was arrested on felony charges of possession of cocaine and misdemeanor charges of DUI, speeding and running a red light.

She was released from jail Sunday afternoon on $12,150 bail.
