A wreck in downtown Summerville Wednesday morning sent two to the hospital by ambulance.  The accident happened on Commerce Street at the red light in front of First National Bank, across from the AM 1180 studios. 

The accident involved a Chevrolet Camero and a older model Ford Festiva.  Eyewittnesses told AM 1180 that it appeared the light turned red and the Festiva was rear-ended by the Camero.  A man was sitting in the back seat of the Festiva and was one of the injured taken by Redmond EMS to a Rome hospital along with the female driver of the Festiva. 

More information will be available when the accident report is released by the Summerville Police Department.  The accident happened about 11:30 AM on Wednesday.
