Chattooga County School Superintendent Jared Hosmer released a statement on Thursday afternoon following Georgia Governor Brian Kemp’s announcement that schools will remain closed until April 24th.
Hosmer said, ” I know that there will be a lot of questions moving forward so we will continue to send out District information over the coming days. We will continue Digital Learning and Paper/Pencil Packets and Meal Delivery during this extended school closure except for the week designated as Spring Break (April 6th through April 10th). Students and District staff will get a much needed break during Spring Break Week. There will be no meals available during Spring Break week.”
