Consumers in Chattooga County can continue to save this weekend during the Georgia Sales Tax Holiday.  The event is planned to be a way for people to do back to school shopping and avoid paying sales tax.  Not all items are exempt…..but you can save some money on clothes and school supplies as well as computers and some other items.

If you don’t have an opportunity to shop this weekend during Georgia’s Sales Tax holiday you can take a short trip across the state line next weekend and take advantage of Alabama’s Sales Tax Free Weekend.
