According to Rome police reports:

A driver for Georgia Taxi reported he picked up two males at the corner of Glover Street and East Main Street at 12:15 a.m. Sunday. After the two men got into the van, the suspect in the front seat pulled out a small pistol and ordered the taxi driver to take them to Etowah Terrace.
