THE ATLANTA JOURNAL IS REPORTING THAT GEORGIA’S TEA PARTY GROUPS ARE RECRUITING CHALLENGERS TO RUN AGAINST SOME HIGH-PROFILE REPUBLICANS… INCLUDING STATE SENATOR, JEFF MULLIS… AND HOUSE SPEAKER DAVID RALSTON.  MULLIS REPRESENTS WALKER, DADE, CATOOSA AND CHATTOOGA COUNTIES IN THE STATE SENATE.

TEA PARTY OFFICIALS SAY THE TARGETED G.O.P. MEMBERS ARE "RINOS"… WHICH STANDS FOR "REPUBLICAN IN NAME ONLY".   "THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THEY ARE GOING EXTINCT IF THEY DO NOT START ADOPTING THE IDEOLOGY OF THE TEA PARTY IN THIS STATE"… SAID BILL EVELYN, STATE OF GEORGIA TEA PARTY FOUNDER.

BOTH RALSTON AND MULLIS SAY THEIR CONSERVATIVE VOTING RECORD IS WITHOUT QUESTION.  BUT EVELYN COUNTERS THAT THE CURRENT REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP IN GEORGIA IS "FISCALLY IRRESPONSIBLE".
