The Technical College System of Georgia announced this week that enrollement at its 28 schools in the state is up 26 percent this year. The schools saw an increase of 22,000 students. The 109,548 students is the largest winter attendance ever and the second consecutive quarter with six-digit enrollment. Georgia Northwestern Technical College announced last month that preliminary data showed there are 5,993 students enrolled this quarter, compared to 5,154 last year at pre-merger Coosa Valley Technical College and Northwestern Technical College. That’s an increase of 839, or 16 percent.
