Teen arrested for threats, carry weapon at Coosa Valley Technical College
A 18-year-old Roman was sent to jail Thursday morning on felony charges of aggrevated assault and carrying a weapon at school after entering a classroom at Coosa Valley Technical College and making threats, reports stated.

According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:

Howard Cody Elckleberry, 18, of 307 Shorthorn Road, was reported to have entered a classroom on the campus of the technical college Wednesday around 10 a.m. carrying a folding pocket knife.

He was reported to have threatened another student, and after disrupting the class went outside and buried a knife by a tree.

He was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Floyd County Jail, where he remains with no bail on charges of felony aggrevated assault, felony carrying a weapon at school and a misdemeanor charge of disrupting a public school.
