A Rome teen remained at the Floyd County Jail on Friday night on a number of charges, including felony child molestation and rape, reports stated.
According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:
Cornelius Bertrand Penn, 18, of Rome, was arrested Thursday at 8:30 p.m. on the felony charges after he allegedly coerced an underage girl in January.
Penn was also being held on misdemeanor charges of simple battery, cruelty to children in the third degree, criminal trespass and a felony charge of probation violation.
He remained in jail with a bond amount of $4,950.
