It’s simple— a fine of up to 100 dollars if a young driver is caught making a call or texting while driving.

That’s what a new bill would do if it passess the Georgia House of Representatives.  The bill’s author is State Representative Matt Ramsey.  Ramsey’s bill has cleared it’s first committee vote. It imposes a fine for a kid under 18 with a class "D" license caught texting or talking on the phone while behind the wheel.
