A Rome teen remained in the Floyd County Jail Friday morning on felony and misdemeanor charges after hitting another teen during a fight, reports stated.

According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:

Tootie Wayne Wade, 17, of 839 Burkhalter Road in Silver Creek, was jailed on charges of battery, cruelty to children in the second degree, criminal damage to property and theft by taking after he allegedly got into a fight in the parking lot of Los Portales on Shorter Avenue Thursday evening.

Police alleged Wade hit a 15-year-old girl during the incident, took a cell phone worth $200 and did damage to a car with baseball bat and his fists.

He remained in jail Friday morning on the felony and misdemeanor charges.
