A full recovery is expected for the Walker County teenager that was wounded by an accidental shotgun blast last week.

Seventeen year old Joseph Lee Coffman, who lives on Thomas Dairy Road in Southern Walker County, had returned home from a hunting trip when a companion dropped a 20 guage shotgun, shooting Coffman in the abdomen.  Thomas Dairy Road, while in Walker County, has a Trion address.

Sheriff Steve Wilson of Walker County said that it was clear that there was not foul play or malicious intent with the accidental shooting and no charges were filed.
