The Menlo PTO had scheduled a School Carnival for today that was to have been held at the school’s soccer field.  Organizers decided on Thursday evening of this week to cancel the event due to threatning weather being forecasted for today.  The National Weather Service says that Northwest Georgia can expect strong storms with the possibility of hail and high winds and even perhaps tornadic activity this afternoon.  Stay tuned to AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio and our web site at www.chattoogainfo.com for weather updates.
