Three people – including the driver of a motorcycle – were taken to Floyd Medical Center after the motorcycle and a 2007 Chevrolet Impala were involved in a wreck on Martha Berry Highway, police stated.

According to Lt. Roy Willingham of the Rome Police, the driver of the Impala – Rebekah Foster, 24, of Rome – was turning left into the lot of Bojangles on Martha Berry Highway when the motorcycle driven by Cody Winters, 21, of Rome – heading southbound in the outside lane struck her in the passenger side door.

Two of the six people in the Impala – a Antonio Foster, 29, of Rome, James Johnson, 40, of Rome – along with Winters were taken to Floyd Medical Center for treatment.

As of Saturday the three men had been treated and released from the hospital.

Foster was charged with failure to yield right of way and a child restraint violation, while Winters was charged with driving on an improper license and no proof of insurance.
