The anniversery of the Battle of Chickamauga celebration gets underway in Walker County today.  Motorist travelling Highway 27 towards Chattanooga will want to be aware that traffic could be a problem as Vice President Dick Cheney’s motorcade travells in the area.  Cheney will be speaking in Chickamauga today and security will be tight.  Walker County offiicals told local media that they are ready for the event.  The 145th Anniversery of the Battle of Chickamauga will be continuing this weekend through Sunday.
