Sheriff John Everett said that a routine traffic stop lead to a sizeable drug bust on Wednesday and has landed 3 Alabama residents in jail.
Everett said that the three Alabama residents were on their way through Chattooga County when they were stopped on a routine traffic stop. While inspecting the vehicle the Sheriff found around 30 prescription drug pills and an undisclosed amount of marijuana wrapped in a red bandana stuffed beside the radiator of the vehicle.
Charges are pending against Doyl Cratyon Hall, age 49 of Cedar Bluff, Alabama aldong with 47 year old John Lavon Laney of Gadsden, Alabama and 28 year old Kristin Brooke Hester of Gaylesville. Sheriff Everett said that interviews were still being conducted on Thursday evening with the suspects.
