TWO HIGH-PROFILE TRIALS BEGAN MONDAY IN WALKER COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT.  MARK ANDREW WHITE IS CHARGED WITH MURDER IN THE STABBING DEATH OF HIS YOUNG FRIEND, BILL DILLARD, LAST SUMMER.  LAFAYETTE POLICE SAID AT THE TIME, THAT THE ALTERCATION RESULTED FROM AN ARGUMENT OVER A BOTTLE OF VODKA.  AUTHORITIES SAY WHITE ADMITTED TO THE STABBING – EVEN REPORTING IT WITH A 9-1-1 PHONE CALL.

AND THREE MEN ARE FACING MULTIPLE CHILD MOLESTATION CHARGES FILED BY CHICKAMAUGA POLICE IN 2008.  55 YEAR OLD DAVID HARDIN WAS ARRESTED AS THE ALLEGED "RING-LEADER" OF A GROUP THAT REPEATELY RAPED A 14 YEAR OLD GIRL.  KEVIN HICKS AND SHAWN MEINTZ ARE ALSO BEING TRIED WITH HARDIN ON A NUMBER OF CHARGES, INCLUDING CHILD RAPE.  PROSECUTORS SAY THE GROUP MOVED FROM LOCATION TO LOCATION FOR THEIR ABUSIVE ACTIVITIES… UNTIL THE ARREST CAME AT A CHICKAMAUGA TRIALER PARK ON LEE AVENUE
