At the recent Trion City School’s school board meeting Trion school board members were presented information about post-secondary plans of the Class of 2011.

There were 93 graduates, 24 of which were honor graduates.

Forty-nine percent of the students said they will attend a four-year college/university; 22 percent said thy will attend a two-year college/university; 22 percent said they will attend a technical school; four percent said they would enlist in the military and three percent were undecided.

Seniors received$1,298,565 in scholarships. That total included scholarships from colleges and universities, civic and religious organizations and HOPE scholarships and grants.
