The Trion Fire Department responded to a fire last night at Mt. Vernon Mills.  According to reports the small fire did take out one loom.  The fire occurred around 12:30 AM in the weave room at Mt. Vernon.  The fire department was called because the fire went into the basement, but the fire did not spread and was extinguished without any major damage.
