The Town of Trion has approved the 2011-2012 budget – and it’s good news for Trion residents.  The mayor and town council have approved a spending package that will not require an increase in property taxes or in fees for services.  During the last fiscal year the Town of Trion paid off $120,000 in loan which helps out with this years budget according to Mayor Johnny Ingle.  Water, gas, sanitation and sewer fees will remain the same for Trion residents over the next year.
