Chattooga County will have a new grocery store next week.  United Grocery Outlet says that they will be ready to open by Wednesday.  The store is located in the building that has also housed Red Food Store and Save-A-Lot.

According to the company’s web site, “United Grocery Outlet began in 1974 in Etowah, Tennessee and was known as Bargain Barn. The founders were Doug, Carol and Michael Tullock, grew their store into a striving, now privately owned, company that spans to 38 and growing locations.”

The grocery chain says that they specialize in handling inventory imbalances, closeouts, packaging changes, close-dated product, factory seconds, and trial run products.
