Voters in Chattooga County are being urged to remember proper ID when you go to vote on Tuesday.  Georgia law requires that voters present proper ID when showing up at the polling place to cast a ballot.

There is a large variety of ID’s that voters can choose to present when voting.  Any Georgia drivers license will be accepted, even if it’s an expired drivers license.  Also you can bring any form of government issued ID from the federal, state or county including county board of education ID’s.  You can also use a U.S. Passport.

Chattooga County election officials are urging all registered voters to show up and vote on Tuesday and bring the proper ID.
