Jury selection in the Sam Parker murder trial was completed Wednesday morning in Bartow County and Sam Parker’s murder trial will get underway this coming Monday August 17^th in Walker County Superior Court in LaFayette. The former LaFayette Police officer is accused of murdering his wife, Theresa Parker in March of 2007.   The Bartow County jury won’t be sequestered during the trial, but will be bused back and forth from Bartow County each day.  Experts say the trial could last up to three weeks.    Already the Walker County Sheriff’s Department is preparing for a huge media contingent at the courthouse in LaFayette.
