A LaFayette man said someone entered his enclosed work trailer on Manning Mill Road and stole a variety of tools, at total loss of $3,270.

According to Walker County Sheriff’s Office reports:

Sometime between Feb. 6 and March 8, someone entered the work trailer and stole two Max Coil roofing nailers, one framing fun stitch gun Porter cable, one Dewalt jigsaw, two Dewalt cordless 18-volt skill saws, one Cobalt air shears, one pneumatic air tin snips, one nylon Dewalt tool belt with various tools, and one Rigid saw zall including the blades.

Access to the trailer was gained by cutting the lock on the door with bolt cutters.

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office can offer a reward for information if it leads to an arrest. The reward amount is based on the nature of the crime(s) involved.
