The Chattooga County Water Board met last night on old Highway 27 in Trion to begin interviewing candidates for two positions that the board is looking to fill within the near future.  Five candidates for the job were interviewed last night.  Six more candidates for the two jobs will be interviewed at the next board meeting, Teusday November 7th.

Also the board is looking to makes two major purchases in the near future…..a new pickup truck and a new backhoe.   All of this is necessary due to the expansion of the water district in the Gore-Subligna area and the Cloudland area.
